Juicing & Ayurveda
Juicing is one of the best ways to get a wide spectrum of plant-sourced nutrients in an easy to make tasty drink. And by keeping true to the Ayurvedic Philosophy which states that most raw vegetables are "junk food" because of most people's inability to digest them raw, juicing has taken off majorly in the last few years with its exposure and many touted health benefits.
Often, by cooking and processing foods, the sensitive micro-nutrients found in fresh foods are destroyed, however, for most body types (dohas) digestion and assimilation of raw vegetables can be very difficult, causing ama (toxins) in the system.
The nutrients in the juices regenerate the glands and organs associated with digestion so the digestive secretions are more vital, muscular action is stronger and your ability to absorb nutrients is more efficient.
Improving digestion is an integral part of the positive effect and improvement in the lives and health of those that consume vital juices. Improving digestion improves body health. Less undigested food (ama) in your digestive tract means more energy and a lighter state of being.
